Quick Start1. Select rivet DimensionsDefine basic parameters:Length: Usable length of the rivet.Diameter: Outer diameter of the rivet.Slot length and width: Flexibility of the pin.2. Render and ExportOnce designed, generate the rivet and export it for slicing and printing. Supports may be necessary depending on the size of your fastener bigger means bigger overhang for the shoulder part. Lay the head of the rivet on the plate for printing. If your rivet is small and you print only one, you might want to reduce speed, open the door and activate the parts fan to avoid overmelted layers and ugly surface. For filament, I suggest fiber reenforced ones to help with the brittle nature of a small printed part. Other settings:Wall generator: Arachnea Wall sequence: ext.int. for better precision and fit with your hole.Parts fan speed: 100%Printer speed: 50% if you print one or two pins. You ideally want around 4 seconds between layers. The work around is the parts fan and the opened door.
